During this event, you’ll meet Dr. Susan Davidson, Weiss Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science and Co-Director of the on-campus MSE-DS (Data Science) program. As a computer scientist, her research interests include database and web-based systems, scientific data management, provenance, crowdsourcing and data citation. She also serves here at Penn Engineering Online on the Board for Online Engineering Education and teaches one of our online graduate courses: CIS 5500 Introduction to Database Management Systems. She also teaches an on-demand open course, “Computational Thinking for Problem Solving” which is available through Coursera without any enrollment requirements.
